Brief Description

This film focuses on a vibrant and lively Sea Life which is getting destroyed by plastic pollution caused by humans. A unique film from the fish’s perspective, and how their habitat is being destroyed by humans’ mistakes.

About This Project

Now You Sea Us, Now You Don't was insipired by the Extinction Rebelion environmental movement, which started in 2018, and did many protests raising awareness of the damage of the environment humans are causing. Bojack Horseman also served as an insipration for this film with the heavy use of anthorism, which is humannising animations, and objects to make them more relatable to the audience.

The production for Now You Sea Us, Now You Don't was for my minor project at University which I shoot at home, and made a big wooden multiplane set using transparent plasitc glass to animate the coral reef into multiple layers.

I think that the films do a good job at being both educative and entertaining. There are so many small and intricate details in both the set design as well as the plot, which shows that a lot of care and attention went into the making of the films. The plot lines are heart-warming and powerful, they do a very good job at cautioning people about the effects of global warming and harm to marine life, without being over-complex..
